Ordered Dither

The Ordered Dither node applies a filter that transform the image into a two-colored image with an ordered dither applied to it.

There are four choices of dither type:

  • Bayer 2x2: uses a 2 by 2 Bayer matrix pattern.
  • Bayer 4x4: uses a 4 by 4 Bayer matrix pattern.
  • Bayer 8x8: uses a 8 by 8 Bayer matrix pattern.
  • Noise only: a simple threshold method with no pattern.

Inputs and Outputs

Inputs:

  • Image (Image): The input image.
  • Type (Option): The type of ordered dither to perform. Valid options are:
    • Bayer 2x2 (0)
    • Bayer 4x4 (1)
    • Bayer 8x8 (2)
    • Noise only (3)
  • Dark Color (Color): The color to use to represent dark portions of the image.
  • Light Color (Color): The color to use to represent light portions of the image.
  • Noise (Float): The amount of noise to apply to the dither.
  • Bias (Float): A bias value, which is a constant value to be added to the dither.

Outputs:

  • Output (Image): The output image.
