Grayscale ​

The Color Invert node converts a colored image to a grayscale image.

There are three possible methods to choose from:

  • Luminance: The grayscale value is set to the luminance of each pixel.
  • Min: The grayscale value is set to the minimum value of each pixel's RGB components.
  • Max: The grayscale value is set to the maximum value of each pixel's RGB components.

Inputs and Outputs ​

Inputs:

  • Image (Image): The input image.
  • Method (Option): The method used to create the grayscale representation of the input image. Possible values are Luminance, Min and Max.

Outputs:

  • Output (Image): The output image.
